Dr. Greg Nigh, ND, Naturopathic Doctor

Dr. Greg Nigh is a naturopathic physician with over two decades of clinical experience. He recently relocated to Westerly from Portland, Oregon, where he owned and served as medical director of a large integrative clinic.

He has specialized in naturopathic cancer care for over 15 years and has extensive experience treating a wide range of complex and chronic health conditions, including autoimmune disease, mold-related illness, chronic Lyme disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and long COVID.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Nigh is a prolific medical researcher and writer. He has published over a dozen peer-reviewed papers, contributed to medical texts, and is the author of Devil in the Garlic—the first comprehensive account of symptoms and treatment related to impaired dietary sulfur metabolism.

He has spoken internationally on topics ranging from cancer care and sulfur metabolism to the structuring of water in the body. He brings a depth of knowledge and clinical insight to every patient interaction, paired with a grounded, approachable presence that is both rare and refreshing to find in a doctor.

These sessions are not about quick fixes — they’re about creating sustainable, nourishing routines that help you reconnect with your health and sense of self.

Why I Offer Health Counseling

My path into health and wellness began with my own struggles—thyroid issues, joint pain, hormonal imbalances, and years of feeling unwell without clear answers. Searching for healing led me to a deeper understanding of the body and the practices that now guide my work.

Over 30 years ago, I was introduced to yoga and holistic living, eventually traveling to India in search of deeper knowledge. That journey led me to Ayurveda—an ancient system of balance through daily rhythms, breath, mindful movement, and nourishing foods.

Living these principles changed everything. It wasn’t overnight, but I found more energy, balance, and a stronger connection to myself. I created Pure Eco Spa to offer that same supportive space—where people can slow down, reset, and feel well again.

What I offer is Lifestyle Coaching, rooted in Ayurvedic wisdom—guiding you through breathwork, meditation, mindful eating, and daily routines that reduce stress and support natural balance. I do not offer medical advice or herbal prescriptions, but rather a practical, nourishing approach to well-being.

With over 26 years of experience, my approach blends holistic skin care, Ayurvedic coaching, and energy therapies, shaped by my studies in Ashtanga Yoga, Reiki, Pranic Healing, Aromatherapy, and Ayurvedic therapies.
